A Mount Clemens company that manufactures industrial temperature and pressure measurement instruments has been sold to Indiana-based DwyerOmega, company officials said Tuesday.
Miljoco Corp., which makes temperature and pressure measurement instruments, was recently acquired by DwyerOmega, according to a news release.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed
The transaction includes the Miljoco Corp. asset Weiss Instruments, which Miljoco purchased in 2022. The move is meant to further extend DwyerOmega’s sensor and instrumentation expertise in temperature and pressure measurement, according to the release.
Miljoco, founded in 1979, is a designer, manufacturer, and distributor of a broad range of temperature and pressure measurement instruments used in critical life and safety, food safety, commercial indoor environmental quality and industrial applications.
It is comprised of two brands, Miljoco and Weiss, which was founded as Weiss Instruments more than 140 years ago.
DwyerOmega is a portfolio company of Tennessee-based Arcline Investment Management and Miljoco is a portfolio company of Chagrin Falls, Ohio-based Foundation Investment Partners.
