INDUSTRY — A man riding a bicycle on the eastbound Pomona (60) Freeway in Industry was struck by several vehicles Tuesday night and killed.
The man was riding near the center divider, just west of Peck Road, when he was hit by the vehicles at about 8:15 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
All drivers remained at the scene and no other injuries were reported, the CHP reported.
All but the No. 5 lane of the freeway was closed as authorities investigated the collision.
