Birmingham’s Daniel Corp. has announced the appointment of a new vice president.
Cameron Conner, a graduate of Ole Miss, will join the multifamily development and acquisition team. Previously with the company, Conner worked in sourcing and underwriting of potential new investment and development opportunities. Before joining Daniel, he worked for a family office in Atlanta, involved in making investments with a focus on opportunistic and value add real estate.
Multifamily development and acquisition space with Daniel currently consists of active investments of more than $370 million of assets across the South and about $180 million that the company expects to commence investment on in the next 12 months.
“Cameron has been an outstanding contributor since the day he joined the Daniel team, and we are excited to see him take this next step in his professional development,” Justin Weintraub, Daniel Executive Vice President said. “Our company has made a significant investment in the multifamily space over the past few years and are positioned well to continue this growth. We are excited to recognize Cameron with this promotion for his dedication and accomplishments to date, as he will play a critical role in allowing us to capitalize on all the opportunities that lie ahead.”
Conner is a member of the Birmingham Zoo Junior Board, United Way of Central Alabama, and does volunteer work through Covenant Presbyterian Church. He and his wife Kristie live in Edgewood with their three daughters.
