Restaurant owners in the Valley have urged the government to extend the industry sector benefits to them.
The demand was made during a meeting of the president, Restaurant and Café Association of Kashmir, Sheikh Feroz, with the Director, Industries, Kashmir, Mehmood Shah, on Saturday.
Feroz, while giving the details of the meeting, said,” The Director, Industries, at the meeting discussed all the Central and state benefits fixed for the registered owners of restaurants and café with the industries department.”
“The Director, Industries, also shared a detailed presentation about the benefits given by the Centre and the J&K Government from time to time to its registered industries, hotels, restaurants and cafes. He emphasised on restaurants being declared as industry to avail the benefits,” Feroz said.
Shah suggested registration should be done with the Udyog Aadhaar immediately to avail the benefits under the MSME schemes.
