These times that we are living in right now are anything but normal and it has been hitting the agriculture industry very hard lately.
Dairy farmers around the country are having to dump their milk because creameries do not have the capability of holding all the milk they are getting in.
Hog farmers are having to kill off their hogs because processing plants have had to shut down due to the spread of COVID-19.
All of agriculture has taken a hit during this time. It is hard to know what to do to help, but I have seen recently that people are selling their hogs and they are being purchased so that the farmers are still making a profit.
This is just one way and there are many other ways to help.
Sending a meal, reaching out and asking if there is anything you could do to help in this time, and buying locally produced foods.
The agricultural industry is what keeps our world running and we need to help them as much as we can.
