ARKO Corp. on Tuesday said its chief financial officer, Donald Bassell, plans to retire by the end of the year.
The Richmond, Va., convenience-store operator said it plans to promptly begin the search for a successor, adding that it would consider internal and external candidates.
ARKO said Mr. Bassell, who has been chief financial officer since the closing of the merger with blank-check company Haymaker Acquisition Corp. II in December 2020, would remain in his post until his successor is in place and would stay on until April 2024 to assist with the transition.
