HOUSTON (AP) _ Service Corp. International (SCI) on Tuesday reported second-quarter earnings of $132.7 million.
On a per-share basis, the Houston-based company said it had net income of 82 cents. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were 84 cents per share.
The results surpassed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 82 cents per share.
The funeral home and cemetery operator posted revenue of $990.9 million in the period.
Service Corp. expects full-year earnings in the range of $3.30 to $3.70 per share.
