Blue Bird Corp. Gets New Order From California School District - MarketWatch

Blue Bird Corp. on Tuesday said it has received an order for eight electric school buses from the Orange Unified School District in California.

With this order, the school district will more than double the size of its current Blue Bird electric school bus fleet, the company said. Delivery of the buses is expected in the fourth quarter of this year.

The district purchased seven Blue Bird All American Type D electric school buses last year, the company said.

The school district has about 28,000 students and 44 schools in Orange County.
