Cannabis-industry events came back en masse in the latter part of 2021. In 2022, there will be more events than ever, unless viruses persist. Many events are vax-only and masks in same places are required. The key is to stay safe in these crowded environments. This is our first list of 2022 events., We will make regular updates. 2022 Events
CannaCon - New York 1/7-8; Oklahoma City 3/31-4/1; Detroit 7/21-22; Rosemont, IL 8/26-27; Denver 9/24-25; Virginia Beach 11/19-20
Based in Seattle, CannaCon expanded East and South in 2021 with Oklahoma City, Detroit, Chicago and Virgina Beach events. They're returning to all of those locations in 2022. The first CannaCon of 2022 will take place at Javits Convention Center in New York.
Cannabis Science Conference West - Long Beach, CA 2/2-4
Specializing in analytical science, medical cannabis, cultivation and hemp, this three-day event has expanded from its original Portland, Oregon base to Baltimore and now to the Long Beach Convention & Entertainment Center in February.
CHAMPS Trade Show - Las Vegas 2/2-5
From Las Vegas to Atlantic City, CHAMPS is one of the top cannabis B2Bs. This year's schedule of shows starts in Vegas. No other events are listed.
BizCann Expo - Brooklyn, NY 2/4-5; Medellín, Colombia 5/21-22; Springfield, MA 6/10-11
This new event will take place in three locations in 2022: Brooklyn Expo Center, Mass Mutual Center in Springfield and Plaz Mayor in Medelliín.
Cali Vibes - Long Beach, CA 2/4-6
Celebrate Bob Marley's birthday at this festival featuring five Marley brothers (Ziggy, Stephen, Damian, Julian and Ky-Mani) on Feb. 5, plus Wu-Tang Clan, Slighty Stoopid and more at Marina Green Park.
Cannadelic - Miami 2/5-6
Also known as FLMJ, this two-day event at Miami Airport Convention Center will combine cannabis with psychedelics. CelebStoner's Steve Bloom will be one of the panel moderators.
Lucky Leaf Expo - Albuquerque 2/25-26; Detroit 3/25-26; Oklahoma City 9/22-23; Richmond, VA 11/11-12
The Texas-based event is exanding to neighboring states like Oklahoma (in 2021) and New Mexico in February at the Albuquerque Convention Center. Lucky Leaf events are also scheduled for Detroit, Oklahoma City and Richmond in 2022.
Spannabis - Barcelona 3/11-13
Europe's largest marijuana event attracts 35,000 attendees. It's a seed buyer's paradise. Smokers have congregated in Barcelona at Fira de Cornellá each March for Spannabis since 2002. The 2021 event took place in October.
SXSW - Austin 3/11-20
After going online for the last two years, this sprawling Texas music and movie fest returns to the streets of Austin in March. A number of the panels - such as Cannabis vs. the Opioid Crisis - will focus on cannabis.
NECANN - Boston 3/18-20; Tulsa, OK 4/23-24; Brooklyn, NY 5/14-15; Burlington, VT 6/11-12; Chicago 6/17-18; Atlantic City, NJ 9/9-10; Portland, ME 9/24-25
It's going to be a busy 2022 for NECANN with seven scheduled shows starting in their home base, Boston.
NoCo Hemp Expo - Denver 3/23-25
One of the first events to come back in-person in 2021, this three-day expo returns to Crowne Plaza Denver Airport Convention Center for its eighth year in March.
Ultra Music Festival - Miami 3/25-27
Cancelled for the last two years, this massive DJ/EDM event is returning to Miami's Bayfront Park. It dates back to 1999.
Hash Bash - Ann Arbor 4/2
Since 1971, marijuana advocates have protested on the Diag at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor on the first Saturday in April. The rally as well the Monroe Street Fair that follows Hash Bash is expected to return in person in April.

Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival - Indio, CA 4/15-17, 4/22-24
This popular Southern California music festival, founded in 1999, takes place over consecutive weekends in April. The 2020 and 2021 events were both canceled.
Austin Reggae Festival - 4/22-24
After two years off, this Austin event will be back in April.
National Cannabis Festival - Washington, DC 4/23
The fifth-annual NCF at RFK Festival Grounds in Washington, DC took place in August. Eight months later, in April, they'll be back with another hot line-up.
Sweetwater 420 Fest - Atlanta, GA 4/29-5/1
This popular three-day event - known for its Sweetwater 420 lager - is returning to Centennial Olympic Park after two years off. The lineup includes Snoop Dogg, Oysterhead, Trey Anastasio Band, String Cheese Incident, Umphrey's McGee, Snarky Puppy and more.
Pennsylvania Cannabis Festival - Kutztown, PA 4/23-24
Held at Renninger's Farmers Market in Kutztown, this two-day outdoor event takes place twice a year (also in October). Lt. Gov. John Fetterman has participated in panel discussion moderated by CelebStoner's Steve Bloom at the last two fests.
New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival - 4/29-5/8
America's greatest music festival was cancelled in 2020-2021, even after it was moved to October from the spring. Jazzfest returns to the Fairgrounds Race Course for 10 days in April and May.
MJ Unpacked - New York 5/4-6
After a successful debut in Las Vegas in November, MJ Unpacked is expanding to New York. This two-day event will be held at the New York Hilton Midtown.
NYC Cannabis Parade & Rally - New York 5/7
Since 1973, New York marijuana activists have gathered in a park on the first Saturday in May. What was originally called the Smoke-In is now known as the NYC Cannabis Parade & Rally. The 2021 event took place despite strict Covid-19 regulations. After the traditional parade, people assembled in Union Square Park for a rally featuring Sen. Chuck Schumer and other public officials. This year's rally will feature speakers and music.
O'Cannabiz International Conference & Expo - Toronto 6/1-3
This popular three-day Canadian event takes place at International Centre, Hall #5.
CWCBExpo - New York 6/2-4
The Cannabis World Confernce & Business Expo's flagship event returned to New York's Javits Convention Center in November. Their next New York event is scheduled for June.
NORML Legal Seminar - Aspen, CO 6/2-4
Every year, NORML's attorneys meet in Aspen, CO to swap drug-war stories at the Gant Hotel and Hunter Thompson's Owl Ranch.
Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival - Manchester, TN 6/16-19
The great jamband fest was expected to return in September, but then Hurricane Ida came roaring through Tennessee. Bonnaroo is scheduled for its traditional June dates.
Grow Up Conference & Expo - Victoria, BC 6/20-22
This three-day Canadian event takes place at the Victoria Conference Centre in British Columbia. Their previous expo was held in Niagara Falls, ON in November.

International Cannabis Business Conference - Berlin 7/19-20
The only event so far on ICBC's 2022 event schedule will take place at the Estrel Berlin Hotel in July.
Southern Hemp Expo - Nashville, TN 8/18-19
This Southern event, brought to you by the same team that produces NoCo Hemp Expo in Denver, is moving from Raleigh to Nashville Fairgrounds in 2022.
Cannabis Conference - Las Vegas 8/23-25
This three-day event returns to Paris Las Vegas Hotel & Casino in August.
Florida Cannabis Festival - Mt. Dora, FL 11/5-6
This event at Renninger's Twin Markets features vendors, music and panel discussions moderated by CelebStoner's Steve Bloom.
MJBizCon - Las Vegas 11/15-17
The cannabis industry's biggest trade show returned to the Las Vegas Convention Center in October. The next MJBizCon is scheduled for November.
