Usually, discussions regarding the most road-ready autonomous driving have to do with Tesla’s Autopilot, the innovative – yet unfortunately named – driving assistant that many have used beyond its capabilities. However, other automakers have been quietly making their own progress, as evidenced by Mercedes-Benz’s recent revelation that it is on the cusp of deploying technology that supports Level 3 autonomy.
