First Mining Gold Corp Temporarily Suspends Operations in Ontario Due to Forest Fire - MarketWatch

First Mining Gold Corp. said Monday that it has temporarily suspended its operations in northwestern Ontario due to nearby forest fires.

The Canadian gold developer said it has suspended its operations at its Springpole gold project as fire crews work on containment measures which had begun over the weekend.

The company said that there hasn't been any damage to infrastructure at the Springpole camp so far, but that it is monitoring the situation and will provide updates on any material developments.
