Howard Hughes Corp. names 6 new tenants for Hughes Landing, The Woodlands Waterway - Community Impact Newspaper

The Howard Hughes Corp. announced June 9 six companies in fields including commercial real estate, cyber intelligence, energy and bioscience have signed leases on office buildings at The Woodlands Towers at The Waterway and Hughes Landing.

The deals represent more than 15,000 square feet of office space that will be occupied in the buildings.

Businesses leasing office space at The Woodlands Towers at 9950 Woodloch Forest Drive, a former Anadarko Petroleum Corp. building, include Colliers International, a commercial real estate brokerage professional services and investment management company, leasing 4,100 square feet; Prevailion, a cyber intelligence company, leasing 3,487 square feet; and Nordic Holdings, a foundation of Arden and Laura Hetland, leasing 2,398 square feet.

At the 1725 Hughes Landing building, a 13-story office building, WaveCrest Energy has leased 1,794 square feet; Innocube Biosciences Inc. will occupy 1,724 square feet; and Quattro Financial Advisors, an investment management services company, will occupy 1,551 square feet, according to a news release.

“We are pleased to announce the latest leasing activity in our office portfolio," said Jim Carman, president of Howard Hughes Corp. Houston region. "We are seeing an increase of interest in spec suite opportunities, especially entrepreneurial start-ups and emerging enterprises. These businesses need immediate, turn-key office space they can quickly move into without having to wait for completion of a traditional design and construction process."

Carman said the buildings offer health and wellness facilities as well as amenities within walking distance. The Woodloch Forest tower has a two-story fitness center and a rooftop terrace as well as a 9,000-square-foot conference facility.

The Hughes Landing building is located near Restaurant Row at Hughes Landing, the Lakes Edge Boat House, hotels and residential buildings.
